Hello dear ones,

How are you doing over there?

What if yoga isn’t about fitting your body into a posture, but letting the practice meet you right where you are? When we look beyond the physical poses, the Yamas and Niyamas, the ethical foundations of yoga, offer a compassionate compass for daily living. Rather than a set of rigid rules, think of them as invitations to explore how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.

Non-harming (Ahimsa) starts with soft, gentle thoughts towards your own body. Truthfulness (Satya) asks us to honour our personal capacity without forcing or striving. Contentment (Santosha) encourages us to find peace in the present moment, rather than waiting for external circumstances to change. When we bring these principles onto the mat, movement becomes a form of self-care rather than self-correction.

Stop by in the comments if you wish, and share how you can practice a little more softness towards yourself today.

With love,

Moving with you, exactly as you are.
