When I first rolled out my yoga mat, my focus was entirely on my own journey. I was a student of dance and a seeker of deeper connection, simply trying to navigate the complex world of movement and self-discovery. For years, my practice was a deeply personal process of learning, listening, and evolving.

I never imagined that my path would lead me to a role where I’m not just teaching, but actively guiding the next generation of yoga instructors. Stepping into a leadership role as a lead teacher on 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings has been one of the most profound and transformative experiences of my career. It’s a new level of responsibility, a deeper form of service, and a truly humbling experience.

It’s one thing to teach a single class, but it’s an entirely different journey to facilitate a training. This role has taken me to breathtaking locations, from the serene landscapes of Sri Lanka to the historic beauty of Crete and the vibrant energy of Athens. In each of these places, I’ve had the privilege of working with dedicated individuals who are ready to dedicate themselves to the practice.

What I love most is the passion I see in these aspiring teachers. They aren’t just here to learn a sequence of poses; they’re here to understand the roots of the philosophy, to explore the intricacies of anatomy, and to develop their own unique teaching voice. I’m energized by their enthusiasm and their commitment to becoming well-rounded, compassionate guides.

My role is to hold space for their growth, to challenge them, and to give them the tools to teach with integrity and authenticity. It’s an honor to watch their confidence blossom, to witness them find their own style, and to see them discover what truly lights them up. The process is a beautiful cycle of learning and teaching, where I often feel that I learn just as much from them as they do from me.

Guiding these incredible humans has been a new dimension to my love for teaching. It’s a testament to the fact that when you truly care about what you’re doing, you never stop learning. This role has not only deepened my own practice, but it has also allowed me to contribute to the future of yoga in a meaningful way.
