about

I am a certified and experienced yoga teacher with a unique approach to movement and well-being, cultivated over more than a decade of dedication to both my personal practice and my professional career. My journey began alongside my dance studies, where I first discovered the profound connection between the disciplined physical form of dance and the mindful, breath-led movements of yoga. This early inspiration led me to pursue and formally integrated Yoga and Tai Chi into my curriculum during my BA in Dance. This really deepened my understanding and love of their shared ideals, ethos, and form.

My expertise is rooted in a comprehensive and international training background. I am a 200hr Hatha & Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga certified teacher from the prestigious World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh, India—a journey that was pivotal in the blossoming of my personal practice. This was complemented by my subsequent 200hr Hatha Vinyasa training with Shri Gaia Institute in Athens, along with advanced certifications in Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga and Pranayama. As a registered Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, I am committed to upholding the highest standards and tradition of yoga.

My teaching career is as versatile as my practice. I have been leading 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings over the past year, guiding aspiring teachers on their own transformative journeys. I have had the privilege of teaching internationally and have been in the online wellness space since 2020. In fact, my very first teaching role was providing online yoga and well-being sessions to corporate clients, a field in which I have extensive experience.

My teaching philosophy is a fusion of my background in dance and my yoga expertise. I specialise in creating purposeful and playful classes that utilise the breath as the primary stimulus for movement, allowing practitioners to flow and delve deeper into their practice of yoga. I wholeheartedly believe in the balance of Yin and Yang, integrating multiple styles of training to benefit both the body and the mind. Whether in a group class, a corporate session, or a one-on-one coaching, my classes are meticulously crafted to be accessible to all levels and abilities.

As a teacher, my core ethos is to be fully present and to guide others in the process of self-discovery. I am dedicated to helping individuals notice and celebrate both the subtle and significant changes within themselves. It is my passion to connect with as many wonderful people as possible, both in person and virtually, to share the transformative power of yoga.
